Annie Green

From Canada, originally from the Philippines, Annie Green is a mélange of indie, pop, r&b, and bedroom low-fi. Growing up in Calgary, Canada, she was surrounded by the local country music scene, but never quite felt like she fit in. It wasn’t until the summer of 2018 when she discovered artists like Clairo and Rex Orange County that she truly discovered a genre that spoke to her. Her cover of “Best Friend” by Rex Orange County has surpassed 1.2 Million views on YouTube. 

Annie puts a new-age digital spin on the “touring artist” as she is heavily involved in the music live-streaming scene, a way for artists to play music to fans without having to leave the comfort of their own homes. She streams multiple times a week on Twitch as an official partnered streamer.

In September 2021, Annie started working with multi-talented musician and producer Dave Green (The Filthy Souls, Atlas Genius.) Being an avid storyteller, Annie is greatly influenced by real life, drawing inspiration for her music from personal experiences, allowing her to invoke strong emotions in people. The artist also seems to have a unique innate competency to ingeniously present music in multiple styles, all while maintaining a consistent brand, one of the factors that make this artist one to keep an eye out for. Though relatively new to the scene, Green has already been featured on world renowned platforms like Lyrical Lemonade as well as featured on multiple Spotify editorial playlists including “It's a Bop", "Indie Pop & Chill", “RADAR CANADA” and "Fresh Finds".
