Chris Pierce

Chris Pierce first gained national prominence with his hit “We Can Always Come Back To This”.  The smash co-write aired on 3 episodes of the #1 NBC primetime series ‘THIS IS US’, then went on to peak at #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart. Additionally, Pierce has had his music featured in ABC's A Million Different Things, Filthy Rich, Crash, Rosewood, Soul Men, True Blood, Brothers & Sisters, Single Ladies, Eli Stone, In Plain Sight, Dawson's Creek, Army Wives, as well as in national ad campaigns for Lexus and Banana Republic. He's also done worldwide headlining tours and performed with: Allison Russell, B.B. King, Seal, Al Green, Rodrigo y Gabriella, Colbie Caillat, Keb’Mo’, Blind Boys of Alabama, Aaron Neville and others. 

His 2021 album, 'AMERICAN SILENCE' garnered massive critical acclaim from NPR, SiriusXM, NoDepression, Rolling Stone, Acoustic Guitar, AmericanaUK and others, with The Bluegrass Situation proclaiming, "AMERICAN SILENCE” is poised to become the most resounding Folk album of 2021." Early influential AAA radio champions KCRW, KCSN, WXPN, WMOT, WMVY, KBCS, KSUT and INDIE 102.3 offered airplay, with KCSN 88.5 FM morning show host Nic Harcourt stating,"Chris Pierce is one of the most important American songwriters working today."

2022 highlights include a solo acoustic concert at The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, a Super Bowl commercial with Miley Cyrus & Dolly Parton and a duet with Sara Bareilles. Performance/interview segments on both NPR’s WORLD CAFE and on MOUNTAIN STAGE were broadcast out to 300 NPR affiliates. Stellar live performances at Americanafest, Newport Folk, Four Corners Folk, Kerrville Folk, and NC Folk Festival brought standing ovations and further acclaim. 

Chris Pierce also records and performs with Americana/Soul sensation War & Pierce, with New West Records artist Sunny War. War & Pierce Spotify playlists include: The Pulse Of Americana, Blues Roots, Blues & Roots Rock, Indigo, The BGS Class of 2020, Emerging Americana and others. Pierce is also a member of the Americana/Roots band Leon Creek. 

For 2023, Pierce is slated to release a full band studio album produced at Sunset Sound in Los Angeles by Niko Bolas (Neil Young, The Mavericks) and David Resnik (Sonia Dada). Tentatively titled 'LET ALL WHO WILL’ and due out this summer, with the first Americana/Roots/Blues single “45 JUKEBOX” out now.
