Damien McFly

Hailing from Padova, Italy, Damien McFly is the moniker behind Damiano Ferrari, a driven, passionate and charismatic singer songwriter who bridges the gaps between old and new influenced by the sound of Mumford and Sons, The Lumineers and Ben Howard. and being supported by Rai Radio 1 (Italian national radio), MTV and Rolling Stone Italy, BBC Scotland and Amazing Radio.

Captivating audiences with his raw vocals, the timeless vibes of folk and modern sounds of indie his music has taken him to more than 15 different countries playing over 500 shows playing different festivals in each country, from SXSW (USA) to Home festival (IT) BBC Carfest (UK) and Canadian Music Week. Damien’s “Mesmerised” won the Folk Grand Prize in the John Lennon Songwriting contest 2018 and appeared in the  Spotify editorial playlist “Italians do It Better”. With Damien's You Tube channel having 30,000 subscribers and over 6 million views his video of "New Start" was a feature on MTV New Generation Italy.

His last two singles (“On Our Own” and “Vega”) confirmed the potential of this extraordinary artist and songwriter. His acoustic versions of some recent pop-dance hits surpassed over two million plays on Spotify. Damien was supported by Rai Radio 1 (Italian national radio), MTV and Rolling Stone Italy, BBC Scotland and Amazing Radio. 

Damien is now working on the release of his new album due in 2022 with plans to tour UK Europe, Canada & USA.

 “On Our Own” has been released on June 19th and has already been added to the editorial New Music Daily playlist by Apple Music Italy and the video will be premiered on Billboard Italia on June 26th.
