Nolia Noon

Nolia Noon is a brand-new band from Louisville, Kentucky, who's influences span from Johnny Cash and BB King to Nirvana and Oasis. The group began in the summer of 2021 under various names and different members until officially landing on its current crew and name in July of 2022.

The group is now composed of drummer Nick Beach, bassist John Roach, and singer/guitarist Jared Foos. Nolia Noon has released just two singles, “Roses” and “Looking Back in Anger,” in July of 2022, while also releasing their first music video in September of the same year.

Since its release, “Roses” has been placed in rotation on Louisville's highly respected and well-known radio station 91.9 WFPK. In early September 2022, the station also posted an introductory article about Nolia Noon on its official website.

Nolia Noon has played at various Louisville bars and venues throughout 2022 in addition to headlining a music festival at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, where Jared and John attended as undergrads.

Band Bios

Jared Foos is a recent graduate of Centre College where he earned a music scholarship. Encouraged by his musician grandfather, Jared learned to play guitar at the age of eight and was greatly influenced by blues artists such as Lead Belly and Johnny Cash and many of the 90s grunge bands. Jared loves to create music and play tennis.

 John Andrew Roach is from Statesville, North Carolina and moved to Louisville after graduating from Centre College with a math degree. John works for an industrial supply company and plays bass for Nolia Noon. He’ll never turn down a baseball game or a good road trip.

 Nicholas W. Beach is an American, born in Phoenix, Arizona.  He has been a percussionist since age seven and has a degree from Berklee College of Music.  He loves music. Playing drums makes him happy.
