Pinc Louds

Pinc Louds was born in 2015 when lead singer, Claudi, moved from Puerto Rico to NYC to fulfill her dream of playing in the subway.

Through the literal underground, Claudi met the musicians and artists that would turn Pinc Louds into the full-blown spectacle they are today. Their passionate shows with wild theatrics have been packing NYC venues such as (le)Poisson Rouge, Joe’s Pub, and Knitting Factory ever since.

With members hailing from Chile (Rai Mundo), Israel (Ofer Bear), NY (Marc Mosteirin) and Puerto Rico (Claudi & Pelé), Pinc Louds draws influences from such diverse artists as Pixies, Billie Holiday and Ismael Rivera. Doowop-crooners? Tropical-punk? In essence, they are a rock band. Gritty, sincere and thrilled to be alive.

With venues closed due to the pandemic, 2020 put Pinc Louds in a new setting: NYC’s Tompkins Square Park. Here, the band brought together humans from all walks of life in possibly the most joyous and inclusive environment the NYC music scene has ever seen.

2020 also saw them release singles "Hopscotch", "Tiger Song" and “Spellbound” displaying the band's love of doo-wop harmonies, pots-and-pans percussion and catchy melodies, while maintaining the heartbreaking honesty that made subway-riders from all walks of life fall in love with them in the first place.
