Rob Roth
A newcomer to the music scene, Rob Roth is a NYC-based Pop/Singer-Songwriter whose artistry is shaped by his self-discovery journey in which he battled through consecutive major injuries and surgeries during his early 20’s. After spending several years in the Finance world, Rob discovered his talent and passion for music after reconnecting with the guitar almost a decade after first teaching himself how to play.
Albeit a difficult year, 2021 was life-changing for Rob as he wrote his first original, You're Long Gone, and after a full year of new experiences under his belt, has written over 20 songs and garnered 250K+ streams.
Inspired by the likes of artists including Dave Matthews, John Mayer, Goo Goo Dolls, Avicii, Chainsmokers, among many more, Rob's goal through his songwriting is to allow his listeners to develop their own interpretation of the feelings he wants to evoke both through pain/hardship, but also through healing and love. His upcoming EP focuses on both persevering through hardships & tough situations, as well as exploring the journey that he is still on that looks towards the future with a positive outlook. The versatility of Rob’s voice and storytelling abilities make his upcoming releases a group of must listens.
"When it comes to certain songs, we can’t wait to blast it from our car speakers and ride through the country with it on the highest volume, and that is exactly how we’re feeling about Rob Roth’s “Who You Are”. - Wonderland Magazine
"Following up the release of his single “Headlines” last month, Roth has dropped “For Me,” a smooth, glossy, R&B-influenced track in which the singer-songwriter reflects on the importance of music in his life and how it has helped provide him with a meaning and purpose in life. It’s all quite impressive for a man who has only been singing for slightly more than two years now." - V13
"It’s amazing what a little encouragement from your friends can do. In the case of Rob Roth, who prior to launching his music career was an athlete for decades, and whose friends encouraged him to give singing a try, he found himself being told he had a vocal styling similar to that of Chester Bennington." - PopWrapped
"A more mature version of One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful,” if we were still in the ‘90s, “Headlines” would have a spot on every mix-CD made for a significant other." - Adamsworld Blog
"What I love most about ‘Who You Are’ is the way it makes me feel. Sure it sounds amazing and I adore the vocal sound, but it is the feeling of hope that I get when I listen that gave me a connection to the song. I like the idea of telling people how you feel when you love them than hiding the feelings away." - Music Injection
